2016: photos from round one of mushroom logs. since then, we have plugged three more batches. mushroom logs are fresh-cut hardwood logs that are drilled and innoculated with a specific strain of fungi – we have oyster, shiitake, maitake, and nameko for eating, and reishi and turkeytail for medicine. logs typically fruit for 3-5 years with little maintenance, and are a great addition to any vegetable garden.
