today i visited yoko ono’s wish tree at the hirshorn museum in washington dc. there are many of these trees installed all over the world. in warm months, visitors write their wishes on slips of paper and tie them to the tree branches. in the cooler months, visitors whisper their wishes to the tree. i adore installation art, and given that this piece involved a dogwood tree, i loved it!
i wished for health for my loved ones, happiness for my boyfriend, peace for myself, and a much better end of the season for the packers.
